Kochi : Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal on Monday said there was no attack on the nuns in the train and that accusation was empty. Following information that a gang of converters had boarded the train, the railway police checked on identities of the nuns and released them thereafter, the minister told reporters at a press conference in Kochi.
When quizzed on the Railway Superintendent’s version that attack was carried out by ABVP workers, the minister downplayed the news saying they were mere allegations made by Kerala Chief Minister and the government.
