Thiruvananthapuram : The verdict pronounced by Supreme Court today is the final ruling on Ayodhya issue and we should abide by it with calm and restraint , said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The verdict could have caused discontent to some while there could be others satisfied with ruling. However, each of us must act , to maintian harmony and peace, the minister said.
Kerala had observed laudable restraint in the riotous period after Babri Masjid was torn down. We must always upkeep that heritage, said Pinarayi. Our reactions to the apex court verdict should reflect our solidarity and secular existence, the minister added.
The state government has put in place, all arrangements to prevent tension. No provocative act shall be allowed. All of us with faith in democracy should work toward calm and peace, urged the Chief Minister
