Bengaluru > A case has been filed against former minister and Congress MLA Vinay Kulkarni for allegedly abducting and assaulting a young woman. The complaint was lodged by a resident of Haveri, prompting the Bengaluru police to take action.
The woman alleged in her complaint that she met Kulkarni through a friend in 2022 and that he assaulted her on August 24, 2022, in an isolated area near the Bengaluru airport. The police have also included Kulkarni's associate, Arjun, as a defendant in the case.
Additionally, there is an ongoing CBI investigation into a murder case against Vinay Kulkarni.
