Brussels : A gunman shot dead 2 Swedish people in Brussels prompting authorities to call off Belgium’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Sweden The shooting happened in the city hours before the game but became known only at half-time.
Fans and players were instructed to stay inside the Stadium for their own safety before evacuation operations commenced. Police escorted the Sweden team to the airport.
