Christiano Ronaldo scripted new football history Wednesday scoring 110th and 111th goals for Portugal, breaking former Iran striker Ali Daei as the all-time Goalscorer. The milestone goal came during Portugal’s qualifying match against Ireland.
Ronaldo’s 110th goal happened in the 89th minute when the Portugese striker struck a goal to level scores 1 – 1 in the match. He struck the 111th six minutes later.
The 36-year-old has played 180 matches to create the historical moment while Daei made 149 appearances to score his 109 goals – the highest record until Wednesday.
