FA Cup Final 2020 : Arsenal and Chelsea to Face Off Today

Web Desk(Tvm)Updated: Saturday Aug 1, 2020

Arsenal and Chelsea will contest for the 2020  FA Final Cup, officially known as Heads Up, at Wembley Stadium today 5.30 EST. The date is a delayed one owing to Covid-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The semifinals were held early last month.

Technically, the match is more “important” to Arsenal, as it is their only route back into Europe next season. Alexandre Lacazette, the Arsenal Forward player, said “It has been a weird year. We had the long stop, we changed manager(Arteta replaced Unai Emery in December), had different players. It was a difficult season, maybe the most difficult in my career. But the FA Cup means a lot, I came to Arsenal to win trophies.”

Meanwhile, charismatic Chelsea pair N’Golo Kante and Willian are both in the squad after injuries.

The match this time, will  be held behind closed doors and the winners will receive the trophy on the pitch and not as was customary, up the Royal Box.
