Kings XI hit a dead end in 2020 IPL qualifiers with CSK bowling them out with nine wickets. Final scores stood at 153/6 for KXIP and 154/1 for CSK.
Opting to ball first, CSK seemed to struggle at first with KXIP openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal showcasing their skills with a 55/1 standing at 6 overs. Dhoni-led CSK was quick to turn things around with quick wickets from Nagidi (3/39). Deepak Hooda put up a remarkable performance with a 62-run knock taking KXIP to 153/6 at the end of 20 overs.
CSK kick-started with Faf du Plessis’ 48 bolting the team’s score to 57/0. On his exit, teammates Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu put up brilliant performances of their own winning CSK the match with a few balls to spare.
