Manchester United is looking up Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicdeo from Independiente del Valle hoping to sign him in the January transfer window as part of new recruitment.
In place of its earlier strategy of pursuing long-term targets aged between 23 and 28, United now looks to rope in the highest-rated teenage talents around the world.
Caicedo turned 19 just last month but made his Ecuador debut in October and has attained four senior caps, starting in their last four World Cup qualifiers.
United signed deals with teenage wingers Facundo Pellistri and Arnad Diallo on the deadline day in Octoer and with 18-year-old Diallo who will move to Manchester from Atalanta next month.
