PV Sindhu Creates History, Wins Bronze; First Indian Woman To Bag Two Olympic Medals

Badminton ace PV Sindhu created history becoming the first Indian woman to bag two Olympic medals after winning bronze at Tokyo Games on Sunday defeating China’s He Bingiiao  21-13, 21-15.

With this feat, Sindhu becomes the second Indian after Sushil Kumar to win two individual Olympic medals. She won a silver last Olympics in Ro after losing the final to Carolina Marin. In the last four on Saturday, Sindhu had lost to world no. Tai Tzu Ying.

She didn t drop a single game at Olympics this time. Her ten match wins t the Olympics are the most for an Indian badminton player.
