India team cricketer Rishabh Panth is seriously injured after the Mercedes he was driving crashes into a divider at Narsan in in Haridwar district .
According to police, the wicketkeeper batsman was alone in the car and villagers in the niehbourhood rushed to the spot after hearing the loud crash. They pulled Rishabh and rushed him to nearby hospital from where he was transported to a major hospital in Dehradun, 60 km away.
Pant sustained injuries to his forehead, an arm and right knee apart from back injuries. He is conscious and able to talk, the police said.
The police suspect the accident to have been caused from sleepiness. Pant was riding back home when the accident occurred.
