The Indian Cricket team, begin their first outdoor practice amid a 14-day quarantine. All players tested negative during initial tests conducted upon touch-down. The Virat Koli-led team flew to Australia from Dubai a day after the IPL T20s. This is the first time the ODI, T20 and Test squads have flown together. All three line ups were instructed to travel together as per the strict bio-secure protocol set by Australia. However, Cricket Australia made arrangements for outdoor practice.
The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI), on its Twitter handle, posted pictures of the teams during their outdoor practice and gym routines at Blacktown International sports park inside the Sydney Olympic Park.
Internationals will take place November 27, after quarantine. Starting with three One Day International matches on 27, 29 November and 2nd of December, followed by three T20Is starting on 4th of December. The Test series will commence with a Day-Night game at Adelaide on December 17 followed by the Boxing Day Test match at Melbourne. Vice- captain Ajinkya Rahane might lead the team in the last three matches as skipper Virat Kholi will be away on paternity.
