NEW DELHI : The much awaited 5G services will roll out today. Though slated to spread to all nook and corner in 3-year time, the services will initially launch in 13 select cities. The 5G services starting today will launch in Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai and Bangalore. The names of four other cities remain unclear.
The 5G launch today comes from Airtel. Reliance Jio is yet to come up with a date for its own 5G roll out, though it is widely speculated to happen by Diwali, at what Ambani claimed would be lowest rates in the world.
