LONDON : Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved into critical care from worsened conditions of the coronavirus, a malady that could throw UK’s new govt into upheaval.
According to reports, Johnson was given oxygen late on Monday afternoon before being taken to intensive care unit. He has not been put on ventilator.
Jonson asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputise for him “where necessary”.
The setback is a cruel reversal to Johnson ,55, who led the Conservative party to the greatest-of-all- times victory since Margaret Thatcher’s in 1987, promised to take Britain out of European Union and launched an ambitious economic program to transform his divided country.
