Washington : The 'hero' dog, unleashed by US Special Forces in the dramatic raid that killed Baghdadi, will make her appearance at White House, president Donalad Trump tweeted.

The dog named Conan reportedly helped chase ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who later blew  himself up in a tunnel. Conan was injured in the incident.

Trump said that Conan, a Belgian Malinois, will be leaving middle east next week and then  trip to the White House.

The Pentagon had, before Trump's tweet declassified the name, declined to reveal her identity.

On Wednesday, Trump shared an edited photo, created by the Daily Wire, that showed him awarding the Medal of Honor to Conan.

The real version of the picture will take place next week, Trump tweeted.
