Thiruvananthapuram : Senior RSS leader Prof TJ Chandrachudan has passed away aged 83. the end came at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. He has served as RSP State Secretary and its All India Secreary.
Chandrachudan was born in 1940 in Thiruvananthapuram district and graduated BA with honours. Chandrachudan was active in student politics and worked for Balakrishnan’s Kaumudi for a while before joining as lecturer at Devaswom Board College in Kollam’s Sashthamkotta.
Chandrachud became member of RSP Secretariat in 1975 and served as Chief Editor of fortnightly “Pravaham”. Chandrachud was elected as RSP State Secretary in 1999. and later as its All India General Secretary in 2008, a post he held till 2018. Chandrchud contested Lok Sabha seat thrice but failed to make it.
