Russian troops have entered city of Kyiv after pounding it with missiles and artillery. In a last ditch effort, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence put out a message on its Facebook page. It read : “We urge citizens to inform us of troop movements, to make Molotov cocktails and neutralise the enemy.”
The advice comes after the international community disappointed president Volodymr Zelensky’s plea for assistance to fight Russian attack.
On day one of the war, Thursday, Zenlensky vowed to stay in the capital. “I will stay n the capital. My family is also in Ukraine,” he had said.
Meanwhile there are reports on extensive rocket strikes as Russian artillery continues strike targets and unlike yesterday, civilian settlements have come under attack.
