Quetta : A terrorist attack on Wednesday at a luxury in southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta left 4 people dead and 11 officials wounded.
China’s ambassador to Pakistan is lodged at the hotel, although he was not present when the car bomb ripped through the hotel’s parking lot.
“A car full of explosives exploded in the hotel”, said news on local ARV TV. The Provincial Home Minister Ziaullah Lango said the envoy was fine
The Pakistan Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing saying “It was a suicide attack in which our suicide bomber used his explosives-filled car in the hotel.”
The well-fortified hotel is next to the Iranian Consulate and the provincial parliament building.
