With voice breaking from emotions, U.S. President Joe Biden responded to the twin blasts that killed at least 13 American troops and scores of civilians yesterday. In his speech from White House on Thursday he said “To those who carried out this attack, as well as anyone who wishes America harm, know this : We will not forgive, we will not forget; we will hunt you down and make you pay.”
Clarifying the US evacuations of its citizens will continuem he said “We will not be deterred by terrrorists; we will not let them stop our mission. We will continue the evacuations,”. Biden postponed his engagements for the day, including a meeting with Israeli Prime Miniser Naftali Bennet, to focus on the situation in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile ISKP claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement that identified the bomber by name and referred to the Taliban as “apostates.” Islamic State Koharasan(ISIS0K) is an affiliate of militants who previously battled U. S. forces in Syria and Iraq.
