Malappuram : The cop who beat Plus I student in Keezhassery has been sent on suspension. The accused is police driver attached to Mavoor police station, Abdul Azeez who is being suspended for investigation purposes.
The incident took place on the 13th. Two police men, Abdul Azeez and Abdul Khadar got together and beat up the 16-year-old. Abdul Khadar was transferred after news of the assault broke.
The assault victim is a student of Keezhamann Higher Secondary School
