CPI-M central committee member and Minister of Kerala K Radhakrishnan visited Tamilnadu Chief Minister M K Stalin in Chennai. The meeting was held in DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam. CPI-M Tamilnadu state secretary K Balakrishnan was also present.

Radhakrishnan invited Stalin to the seminar `Centre-State relations' being conducted in connection with the 23rd CPI(M) Party Congress in Kannur. The seminar will be conducted on 9th April 2022. K Radhakrishnan greeted M K Stalin with a shawl and memento.

The meeting weighs high relevance with regard to the curent political scenario in the country, especially when the BJP led union government is trying to jeopardise the very federal structure of the Indian constitution. The DMK solidarity with CPI-M can be viewed as a strong message to the centre where the non BJP states come hand in hand in terms of co-operation and unity of opposition. Both parties have discussed the issues concerning both states.

Tamilnadu Minister for water resources Durai Murugan, Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi and Labour Minister C V Ganeshan also were present in the meeting.
